No. Enclosure in Lisheen (bantry By.) is a sub-circular pasture field, sixty-two by sixty-three metres, bounded by a stone fence on a south-facing slope. Locals still call it a fort, though only a faint eighteen-metre bank remains inside. The land may have resisted every attempt to take it, preserving its shape through centuries of forgetting.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Locally regarded as site of "fort". Sub-circular field (62m N-S; 63m E-W) enclosed by stone fence. Arc of bank (max. H 0.2m; L 18m ENE-WSW) runs along break in slope across interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
