Lisnaleagh/Lios na Leacht (ringfort of the mounds of stones). This map designation appears on the 1842 edition OS map, but does not appear on the 1916 edition. Univallate rath KE014-006 situated on rising land which is gently sloping N, the N through E sectors of the enclosing bank have been incorporated into fieldbanks and are therefore somewhat distorted. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land. In the S sector is a rectangular enclosure (KE014-006004-), 15m x 20m internally, constructed of stone. Within this enclosure are three mounds constructed of stones (KE014-006001-, KE014-006002- and KE014-006003-). The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’.
