Enclosure in Gortnaglogh (clonmacnowen By.),kilmalaw is a 31-metre circular earthwork in County Galway, reduced to a faint bank and shallow ditch beside a later ringfort. Quarrying and field boundaries have eaten through its eastern and southern edges, leaving only a ghost of the original shape. Yet the circle still resists forgetting, marking a place where people lived, worked and perhaps watched the road before the land was taken for stone.

In gently undulating farmland. A circular enclosure (D 31m), in poor condition, defined by a degraded bank and shallow external fosse. Quarrying has destroyed the enclosing elements from E to ESE, and from SE to S a field boundary overlies the fosse. A ringfort (GA074-055----) is visible c. 100m to NE.
