What is recorded here

Situated on a natural hillock in an upland area. A semicircular area (diam. 24m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1-1.7m) which is intersected at W by an old field fence. The interior and bank is planted with conifer trees which is suggestive of a landscape feature (Stout 1984, 58-9).
