In a flat valley with ground sloping gradually to the NNW and a stream flowing NE-SW c. 30m NW of the monument, in lush meadow. Identified on an aerial photograph (Air Corps V.312/3077-6) as a circular enclosure c. 30m in diameter. It is not visible at ground level.
