What is recorded here

On a W-facing slope. An area of about 25 acres (c. 10 ha) contains a complex of old field walls and enclosures visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: K17, W17). The area is now reduced to c. 2 ha of rough pasture but the cleared area contained at least two drystone-walled enclosures, now removed. This enclosure (RO050-041005-) had a diam. of c. 10m.
