On the W side of the Dinin river valley, overlooking the meandering river which flows c. 130m to the W, in rolling grassland. There are good views to the E and S, with rising land impeding the view to the W and N. The enclosure (dims. c. 34m NW-SE; c. 28m NE-SW) is depicted on the 25-inch OS map as sub-square with straight or slightly curving sides and rounded N and E corners. The SW side and S and W corners have been truncated by a field boundary running NW-SE along the SW side. The public road runs NE-SW immediately SE of and parallel to the SE side. The field boundaries in the vicinity have been cleared and the monument levelled. It is not visible at ground level.
