Enclosure in Esker — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

On the W side of the Dinin river valley, overlooking the meandering river which flows c. 130m to the W, in rolling grassland. There are good views to the E and S, with rising land impeding the view to the W and N. The enclosure (dims. c. 34m NW-SE; c. 28m NE-SW) is depicted on the 25-inch OS map as sub-square with straight or slightly curving sides and rounded N and E corners. The SW side and S and W corners have been truncated by a field boundary running NW-SE along the SW side. The public road runs NE-SW immediately SE of and parallel to the SE side. The field boundaries in the vicinity have been cleared and the monument levelled. It is not visible at ground level. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 18 December 2018
