Dunmore Caves

Dunmore Caves are a series of limestone caves formed through natural dissolution processes typical of karst landscapes in the Ballyhoura Hills. The caves have a long history of human use, including archaeological evidence of early Christian activity and local folklore associating them with hidden passages and ancient monastic sites.
