What is recorded here

Located on top of a drumlin. A subrectangular earthwork (dims c. 50m NNE-SSW; c. 50m WNW-ESE) is depicted here on a revision of the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map that is dated 1858, and a subcircular enclosure is suggested by a curving field bank N-E-S (diam. c. 50m). The field bank is extant but no archaeological feature is visible at ground level in pasture. Revised by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 9 May 2018
