Enclosure in Cutteen South

Marked as a small circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in pasture on a SE-facing slope. A field bank curving S-W (C 34m) may respect the outline of an earthwork, which is otherwise not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
