Situated in upland area. Hachured as a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c. 40m E-W) on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. All that now remains of this site, at ground level, is a semicircular area defined by a scarp at N. Smaller embanked circle (diam. 2m) situated in N portion of site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
