What is recorded here
On a W-facing slope in grassland. Marked on the 1945 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 44m). On inspection in April 1984 it had been levelled and apart from slight traces of the fosse, indicated by a change in vegetation colour from N through E to S, no visible surface trace was evident. However, its complete outline is clearly visible on Google maps (DigitalGlobe 2016, last accessed 22 February 2019).
