What is recorded here

In pasture, located on a low rise. There are good views over gently undulating terrain, restricted somewhat to N by rising ground. Not shown on the 1838 1916 OS 6-inch map; a subcircular hachured enclosure (c. 35m E−W; c. 30m N−S), crossed roughly centrally by a field boundary on NE–SW axis, is shown on the 1916 edition. Levelled during land reclamation; the ephemeral outline of a roughly circular area (diam. c. 33m) can still be traced at ground level.
