In pasture, at the NE end of a drumlin. The cropmark of a bank N-WSW visible in an aerial photograph (GSIAP, G 222-1) may be the remains of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). It is not visible at ground level. A possible rath (SL039-130001-) lies c. 40m to NNE in the adjoining field.
