What is recorded here

In poorly drained grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1931) as an oval hollow (c. 50m by c. 30m) delimited along SW side by a stream. What is visible is a low wide earthen bank (Wth 2m, H 0.5m) curving from NNW to E with traces of a shallow internal fosse.
