What is recorded here

Beallagharee castle vanished completely from the Galway landscape, leaving behind only a faint ground rise where stone walls once stood. Hugh McTirilagh held the fortification in 1574 before the Blake family took it over, yet time erased every visible trace of their conflict and ownership. The grasslands still cover the bones of that medieval structure, forcing imagination to rebuild what forgetting removed.
Site of Ballygar Castle is recorded as a archaeological place in County Galway. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
