Enclosure in Boardee

In tillage, on E-facing slope. Semicircular area (diam. c. 53m) defined by band of light brown stony soil (Wth 4m) NNW->SE; slight rise NE->SE, possibly remains of levelled bank. Soil elsewhere in field dark brown in colour. No visible surface trace of bank SE->NNW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
