What is recorded here

In pasture, at the top of the N-facing slope of Camp Hill. A circular grass-covered platform (diam. 19.5m; H 2m at N) with a slight trace of a bank along the N arc. Indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a small embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 15m) within a bleaching green. A rath (SL020-201----) lies c. 150m to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
