What is recorded here

On a slight W-facing slope in pasture 75m W of the townland boundary with Ballybricken South. Ring-barrows (LI023-193001-/003-) located 280m to SW, ring-barrows (LI023-190001-/002-) 210m to NE. The site is not depicted on historic OSi maps but is clearly visible on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 262 AP 4/3693) as an enclosure. The site comprises as curving cropmark adjoin two corners of a relic field forming a wedge-shaped enclosure (ext. diam. c. 38m N-S; 17m E-W). The enclosure is visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimages taken 05/04/2006 and 28/06/2018.
