What is recorded here
Identified from an aerial photograph (Bruff Survey: Map 23, Bruff 160: AP 4/3694) and described by Doody (2008, 131) as a 'subrectangular ditched enclosure, 29m N-S x 25m E-W, with both internal (c. 3m wide, 1m high) and external (c. 3m wide, 0.3m high) bank. Possible entrance gap at S side of inner bank where ditch is shallower; ditch 1.2m deep, c. 6m wide at the top'; the morphology of this enclosure indicates that it may be Bronze Age in date (ibid.).
