At the crest of a W-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 49.3m E-W; 47.4m N-S) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 3.4-5m; Wth of top 0.6-0.8m; int. H 0.25-0.35m generally to 0.7m at S; ext. H 0.8m at N to 1.25-1.7m generally) separated by a rounded fosse (at S: Wth of top 7.5m; Wth of base 1.8m; ext. D 1.35m) from an outer bank (at S: Wth 3.7m; H 0.35m) which survive SE-W. The fosse is truncated by a NE-SW road wall at SE and a NW-SE field wall at NE. The original entrance cannot be identified.
