At the summit of a small ENE-WSW ridge, towards the E end. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 5-5.5m; int. H 0.4-0.95m; ext. H 2.1-2.8m) reduced to a scarp (H 1.5m) WNW-NNW, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 8.7m; Wth of base 5.5m; D 0.45-0.8m) WSW-NNW. The entrance (Wth 3.4m) is at SE. There is a quarry outside the bank N-ENE, and modern field banks radiate from the perimeter at ENE, SW and NW.
