What is recorded here

Single-arch random coursed stone bridge, built c.1800. Bridge carries traffic over mill race with random coursed revetting side walls leading to possible sluice gate. Cut stone voussoirs to arch.
This single-arch road bridge is well executed, exemplified by the cut stone voussoirs and coping. The survival of the millrace acts as a physical reminder of the power sources employed to drive mills in the past.
