Marked as circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of a N-facingl slope of Annagh Hill above a SE-NW spur. Aerial photograph (CUCAP, BGF 10) shows the cropmark of a rectangular enclosure (int. dims. c. 30m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) with two parallel fosses (Wth c. 2m) or a wide moat (Wth c. 6m).
