Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 55m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and situated on a SE-facing slope overlooking a col c. 300m to the SE between a NE-SW ridge c. 500m to the N of the col and Ballylane Hill c. 1.2 km to the SW of the col. It is not visible at ground level apart from a slight curve in a field bank and townland boundary with Arnestown at E (C 50m).
