What is recorded here

Gate screen, extant 1902, on a symmetrical plan with pair of pointed-arch openings centred on pointed-arch gateway. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Talbot Hall.
A crow-stepped gate screen not only making an eye-catching visual statement in a sylvan street scene at the entrance on to the grounds of the Talbot Hall estate, but also illustrating the continued development or "improvement" of the estate in the later nineteenth century.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
