Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Gortnalaght, County Waterford, Ireland. The 1999 inventory recorded a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 41 metres east-west and 34 metres north-south. An overgrown earth and stone bank, 5 to 6 metres wide, defined the site, with an outer fosse surviving from west through north to east. Both features were best preserved at the west, while gaps at north, north-northeast and south prevented identification of the original entrance.

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope in the valley of the NW-SE River Tay with the stream c. 130m to the W. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 41m E-W; 34m N-S) defined by an overgrown earth and stone bank (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.8-1.4m; ext. H 0.9-1.8m), with the remains of an outer fosse (Wth at base 1.5-3m; ext. D 0.2-1.1m) W-N-E. Both the bank and fosse are best preserved at W, and the monument is circumscribed by a field bank W-NE. There are gaps at N, NNE and S but the riginal entrance cannot be recognised.
