What is recorded here

Situated on an E-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims. 64m NW-SE; 50m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank best preserved SE-NW (Wth 4-5m; int. H 1-1.6m; ext. H 1-1.4m) but reduced almost to a scarp (H 1m) elsewhere. Slight traces of an outer fosse survive W-N. The entrance (Wth 2.7m), possibly modern, is at NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
