What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in a slight fold on a S-facing slope of White Mountain with a small NE-SW stream and its valley c. 50m to the NW. This is a subcircular or D-shaped grass-covered area (dims. 35m NE-SW; 29m NW-SE) defined by a slight scarp SW-N-ESE and by a slight curve in the field bank elsewhere.
