What is recorded here
Earthwork in Tymon North is an earthwork in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps the fairy bank whispered in OS Letters is still buried beneath the grass, waiting for a child to jump its ridge at dusk. Maybe the earth remembers every footstep that ever crossed it, saving each shadow for the moon to read.
The OS Letters mention a 'fairy bank' on a hill south of Tymon castle (O'Flanagan 1927, 35). Not precisely located.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
