Earthwork in Kilgrellane

Soilmark (GSI, 10152) shows broadly E-W linear feature S of subcircular enclosure (CO088-012---). Feature starts to SW of enclosure, runs ESE; beyond enclosure turns ENE; just before modern field fence, turns N, not quite parallel with the fence. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
