Earthwork in Graiguealug is a raised platform against a slope, topped by an earthen and stone bank, hidden inside a Carlow forest. A possible small penannular hut site faces east outside the main bank, suggesting people once lived beside or inside the structure. The shape may be a defaced ringfort, reduced by time and trees rather than never built at all.

Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Consists of raised platform against slope, on which stands an earthen and stone bank. Outside bank at E is possible small penannular hut site. Monument is in forest, covered by trees. Possibly a defaced ringfort.
