What is recorded here
In tillage. A large oval enclosure (dims. c. 157m NW-SE) defined by a cropmark is visible on Google Earth (imagery date 14 July 2018), identified and reported by Simon Dowling. Two field boundaries run across the enclosure, one running roughly E-W just S of centre and the other running roughly N-S, partially along or truncating the E side of the enclosure. The edge of the NE quadrant is not visible as it is in an adjoining field which is under a different crop. See attached: CW012-223----_01 Google Earth image (imagery date 14 July 2018) CW012-223----_02 Google Earth image (imagery date 14 July 2018) with enclosure highlighted Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 25 February 2020
