What is recorded here

In gentle undulating pasture, with moderate views from SE-SW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a mound. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map a raised circular-shaped area defined by a scarp. Levelled earthwork surveyed in 1999 and described as a low rise on the E side of a low wet area of pasture, defined by a scarp (Wth 0.6m; H 0.09m) from SE-S-SW intersected by a natural scarp running E-W. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimages.
