Situated on reclaimed grassland. Area depicted as marshy land that is annotated ‘Liable to Floods’ on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. Cropmark of circular shaped area (approx. int. diam. 30m; ext. diam. 45m) defined by at least two ditches which is transected at E by a post-1700 field boundary running N-S which is clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13. Outline of earthwork clearly visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 24/09/2018 and 16/03/2016.
