
What is recorded here
The site is accessible from the cliff walk S of Bottle Quay on the W side of Howth Head. The castle was demolished prior to 1937. It is a naturally sloping promontory under pasture, which is enclosed by a later property boundary. No visible remains at ground level.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
