Drinagh Br.

Mid/late 19th-century road bridge (Wth 6.2m; long axis N-S) spanning a SE-flowing tributary of the Owbeg River. Built of random rubble sandstone. Eliptical arch (span 3.1m) with roughly shaped voussoirs some of which project up to 0.3m beyond the faces of the bridge. Sides under arch are of coursed rusticated ashlar. Body of bridge reinforced with unusual buttresses to either side of arch. On the 1846 OS 6-inch map the road approaching the bridge site to the S is indicated as being "in progress" and it seems likely that the bridge was built as part of this work.
