What is recorded here

Dominic Hannigan was born in Drogheda, County Louth, on 1 July 1965, before leaving Ireland for London in 1987 and returning in 2004 to engineer roads and systems in Meath. His political life began locally when neighbours in Slane elected him councillor in 2004, not because he arrived with a party banner but because he understood planning, growth and public service from inside the machine. The larger chambers came later through pacts, failures and patience, yet the through-line remains clear: a Drogheda man went out to learn how cities run, came back, and tried to make one county breathe easier.
