Standing against a stone wall on E side of road and obscured by dense growth of vegetation. Locally known as the 'Cat's Cross'. A plain wayside cross (H c. 0.5m) with imperforate ring (diam c. 0.4m) set in socketed base slab. Left arm (L 0.15m) intact and right arm broken off. (Davies 1948, 80) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
