Detached three-bay two-storey with attic accommodation house, built c. 1900, with gabled west bay having two-storey bay window to front (south) elevation. Lower single-bay two-storey gable-fronted addition to west, projecting west bay to rear (north) and gabled porch to west. Three-bay single-storey block to north-east. Pitched slate roofs with red brick chimneystack, terracotta ridge crestings, overhanging eaves, timber bargeboards to gables and cast-iron rainwater goods. Terracotta tiled roof to porch. Rendered walls with render plinth course. Roundel to rear gablet. Square-headed openings throughout. Those to front elevation and west block with render surrounds, one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows and continuous render sill courses. Square-headed opening to gabled bay to front with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash window. Openings to rear with bipartite one-over-one pane and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed openings to rear with fixed coloured glass windows. Square-headed openings to front elevation with render surrounds and timber glazed doors. Square-headed openings to porch with fixed pane windows, and timber panelled half-glazed door and overlight.
Steeply pitched roof and gables typical of architecture of time and area. Other characteristic features are tall chimneystacks, bay window and decorative elements such as bargeboards and ridge crestings. Window surrounds enliven façade and regularity enhanced by retention of timber sash windows. Porch is a notable feature, particularly because of tiled roof, door and glazing.
