What is recorded here

Circa 15m to the SE of another well dedicated to St Columbkille (see LF 023-103001-). A modern wellhouse has been constructed over this natural spring. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 7 June 2013
Linked to St. Columba (Columbkille), the well is associated with traditional Catholic devotion and pilgrimage, particularly in areas with strong Gaelic monastic heritage. St. Columba, a 6th-century Irish monk and missionary, is venerated for his role in converting Scotland to Christianity and is often linked to sites of healing and spiritual significance in Ireland.
