Six-arch road bridge over River Clyda, built c. 1780. Rubble sandstone and limestone masonry walls and parapets. Dressed limestone and sandstone voussoirs to segmental arches. Rendered dressed sandstone V-cutwaters to south elevation, with cut-stone copings.
Textural interest is provided by the contrast between the dressed voussoirs and the rubble stone walls of this bridge. The generously-sized round arches and bend in the road add interest to the surrounding landscape.
