Lisgortnacaheragh/Lios Gort na Rátha: KE042-016---- was shown on the OS maps as a univallate enclosure with a clochaun (KE042-016001-) located in the E sector of the interior.
There is no trace of the clochaun which was described as standing to a height of 1 foot (.3m) in 1845 (OSM).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 652. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
