According to Fitzgerald (1899-1902, 64), in 1788, a rectangular cist (L c. 1.53m; Wth c. 1.22m) was discovered in a garden at Calverstown. It contained a crouched inhumation accompanied by a bowl foodvessel placed close to the head.
