What is recorded here

Situated in the valley of the NE-SW River Bann, with the stream c. 200m to the SE and Laraheen Hill rising over it c. 1.3km to the SE. When the cist (WX002-025001-) was discovered in 1948, there were reports of other discoveries of cists in the same vicinity, but they could not be confirmed. Cist in Annagh More is a small prehistoric stone burial chamber, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Its presence indicates early funerary practices in the River Bann valley region.
