Cill an Leabhair, the Church of the Book, vanished into a rocky wooded slope in County Donegal, leaving only a farm name and bones scattered by ploughs. Local tradition still places a holy well and graveyard beneath the soil, suggesting the site remained sacred long after its walls disappeared. The earth may still hold the shape of that lost church, waiting for someone to listen before breaking it open again.

Local tradition records this as the site of a holy well (DG045-006002-), graveyard (DG045-006003-) and a church (DG045-006001-) known as Cill an Leabhair (Church of the Book). The farm is known as Church Farm but no features survive. Bones have been found during ploughing. The site is located in a rocky wooded area sloping from N to S.
