Church in Rantavan — Report the wrong picture

Not marked on any OS ed. According to Davies (1948, 115) a chapel is mentioned as having existed at the corner of two fields and the road in this area in 1608. He also noted that some flags in the kitchen of Rantavan House are thought to have come from here and that there may have been a stoup at the site. Tradition that ogham stone at Mullagh (CV040-047----) originated from this church site (local information). Its exact location is not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
