In NW quadrant of early ecclesiastical enclosure (CO148-017001-). Small rectangular structure (6m E-W; 5.4m N-S); dry-stone construction, walls survive to average height 1.5m. Linteled door in W wall; only sod-covered foundation of E wall survive. Axis ESE-WNW. Probable remains of small oratory. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
