Church in Ballydawley — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

In pasture, on a low ridge; in a graveyard (SL020-171002-), within the SE quadrant of an ecclesiastical enclosure (SL020-17103-). There are no visible remains of the church which was noted in 1836 as 'an old church in ruins, near Killross old Church, called Killeran Graveyard.' (OSL, 256). According to O'Rorke ([1889], vol. 2, 247), 'The place called Kilellin at Ballygawley … contained a church, which preceded in time that of Kilross'. A stone head (SL020-171007-) and a rectangular stone basin from this site are in the NMI (pers. comm. M. A. Timoney).
