Triple-arch rubble stone road bridge, built c.1780, spanning Barora River, with slightly humped tarmacadam deck. Random-coursed rubble stone parapet and spandrels with Scotch coping. Sections of spandrel and parapet wall now missing, exposing rubble stone core. Segmental arches with dressed stone voussoirs of varying size with rubble-stone barrel and abutments. Pair of rubble stone V-cutwaters to east face with sloped render to tops.

A medium-sized rural bridge, spanning the Cavan and Meath border, retaining its original form and materials despite its poor condition in places. The skill of traditional craftsmen and historic technical design may be seen in the execution of the bridge. It contributes to the civil engineering heritage of the county.
